Your presence is requested for a top secret mission taking place December 8 & 9 in the Fan District of Richmond. Our sources indicate eleven fabulous homes will be on the tour, including the home used in the filming of Showtime Original Series, Homeland.
The Fan Area Historic District is a residential neighborhood developed largely from 1890-1930. The neighborhood is unquestionably one of the city’s greatest architectural assets displaying a rich, cohesive collection of historic homes in a variety of architectural styles such as Victorian, Italianate, Richardson Romanesque, Queen Anne, Colonial Revival, Bungalow, American Arts and Crafts, Tudor Revival, Spanish Colonial, and Art Deco.
The Holiday House Tour supports and enables the Fan District Association to carry out its mission and proceeds are used to enhance the neighborhood through school projects, tree planting, park and alley refurbishments, neighborhood concerts and collaboration with the City of Richmond Police and VCU.
