The Holiday House Tour 2016

Join us from 1 -6 PM on Saturday, December 10 and also Sunday, December 11 for the Fan District Association's Holiday House Tour. From grand residences to modest quaint homes, this year’s tour represents the great diversity and stylish character of the neighborhood.

The Fan Area Historic District is a residential neighborhood developed largely from 1890-1930. The neighborhood is unquestionably one of the city’s greatest architectural assets displaying a rich, cohesive collection of historic homes in a variety of architectural styles such as Victorian, Italianate, Richardson Romanesque, Queen Anne, Colonial Revival, Bungalow, American Arts and Crafts, Tudor Revival, Spanish Colonial, and Art Deco.

The Holiday House Tour supports and enables the Fan District Association to carry out its mission and proceeds are used to enhance the neighborhood through school projects, tree planting, park and alley refurbishments, neighborhood concerts and collaboration with the City of Richmond Police and VCU.
