From the President: 2026 Annual Meeting and Board Candidates

01 May 2026 4:41 PM | Anonymous member (Administrator)

Dear Fan District Association Members,

It’s time to celebrate!

Our Annual Meeting is Tuesday, May 19, 2026, from 6-8 p.m. at the Branch Museum of Design at 2501 Monument Ave. This is a time to gather, meet neighbors, enjoy hors d’oeuvres, drinks, and each other’s company. Parking will be available in the adjacent lot.

Active FDA membership is required to attend. If you need to check your status, there is a guide at the end of this message.

In order to secure your ticket (and to help with food planning), we are requesting you register for the event through our website. Upon registration, you will receive a confirmation with a QR code. Bring that confirmation with you to the Annual Meeting for fast and easy check in.

Register to attend the Annual Meeting here.

In addition to learning about the FDA’s accomplishments over the past year, we will vote on board members.

I am excited to introduce this year's slate of candidates, in alphabetical order:

Mike Glomb

Mike Glomb is an attorney with over thirty years experience advising nonprofit organizations and associations on tax exemption and governance matters. Mike, his wife Susannah, and their dog Nelson, have resided in the Fan since 2019. As FDA members, they have participated in three Holiday House Tours both as docents and as hosts. Mike believes that a strong neighborhood association is essential to maintaining, and improving the features of the Fan that residents cherish, and looks forward to working with FDA colleagues, and other Fan neighbors, to that end.

Sam Parker

Sam Parker and his partner Jennifer have enjoyed living in the Fan for 4 years, following 20 years on a cul-de-sac in the suburbs. For 24 years, he led a leadership development and employee engagement company he cofounded in 1998. The company developed and marketed content used by thousands of leaders and organizations across the county and internationally. He looks forward to applying that experience to growing the FDA’s membership. For the last 4 years, he has worked as a keynote speaker and served on the board of a Richmond-based community action agency working to replace poverty with stability and hope. If you’ve not met him walking around the Fan with his dog, Vinnie, he looks forward to meeting you soon.

Daniella White

Daniella White grew up in the City (Ginter Park) and has been a Fan resident for the past 20 years. She and her husband Michael raised their two daughters here and are proud to call it home. She works at Capital One and has been on the FDA Board for the past three years, currently serving as the President. She is seeking another term so she can continue contributing to the betterment of this amazing neighborhood.

If you are unable to attend in person, please complete the absentee ballot no later than noon (12 p.m.) on Monday, May 18, 2026.

Thank you for your commitment to our neighborhood and community. I look forward to seeing you all at our Annual Meeting on May 19!

Warmly,

Daniella White
President, Fan District Association
